Take a chartered bus to the Freedom Center Highlight/Women of Courage Tour at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.

The tour will begin with the highlights of the Freedom Center which includes and exhibition presentation and will end with the Women of Courage tour which depicts stories of over 20 women known and unknown in the fight for freedom* (before 1920) .

NWSA will provide boxed lunches for the tour group to enjoy at the Freedom Center.

Cost: Adults $35, Children (6-12) $30, price includes transportation and lunch (vegetarian available upon request)

Opening Ceremonies

MUSE

The opening ceremonies will include a mini-concert by MUSE, Cincinnati’s nationally known women’s choir.

Performance by Kathy Wilson

The conference will also feature a one-woman performance based on the book, Your Negro Tour Guide, by Kathy Wilson.

Wilson is a progressive journalist and essayist whose searing yet comical commentaries on race and sexual politics in Cincinnati from her perspective as an African American lesbian have made her a local icon.
